The Ekiti State under 16 Basketball players tutored by coach Tayo Awojinrin are now in Akure for the Rising Stars Basketball Championship .
The team departed Ado Ekiti yesterday for the weeklong basketball championship that will take place at the indoor sports Hall of the Akure stadium.
According to the Ekiti state basketball coach, the championship powered by ex-NBA basketballer , Olumide Oyedeji will dunk off today (Monday) and end on May 1.
Basketball teams from all south west states are expected to be part of it as they will be demonstrating their basketball potentials and learn more about life skills outside the game of basketball.
