
The Chairman, Ekiti State Local Government Service Commission, Chief Samuel Abejide, and other management team have paid a condolence visit to the state Deputy Governor of the State, Chief Monisade Afuye, on the demise of her mother, Madam Esther Iyabode Adegboye
Madam Adegboye died in the early hours of Tuesday after a brief illness at the age of 97.
Chief Abejide who was at the government house residence of the Deputy Governor, paid glowing tributes to the departed, describing the late as a community leader , a kindhearted and a compassionate matriarch, who will be deeply missed by her family and loved ones.
Citing his experience, on the loss of his mother, he empathised more with the Deputy Governor, saying, “The bereaved always feel a sort of pain and loss, no matter the age of the deceased”.

He Prayed to God to grant her the fortitude to bear the loss.
In her response, the Deputy Governor, Chief Afuye, thanked Chief Abejide, and his entourage for the visit.
