Residents Erifun and concerned Motorists plying the Ado-Ijan road have appealed to the state government to help construct speed breakers at the Erifun end to put an end to the frequent accidents that characterised the area.
The call came following an accident that involved a Sienna space bus and a tipper.
According to eye witness, the sienna space bus which was coming from Ado left it’s lane and rammed into the tipper heading to the capital city.
Though, no life was lost to the incident, the left fender of the space bus was destroyed, while the tipper had its propeller and back tyers dislocated.
The situation hampered free flow of vehicular movement until some staff members of the Afe Babalola University assisted in controlling the traffic.
Those who spoke with the BSES requested the state government to help construct speed breakers at the Erifun end of the road to curb the excessive speed of road users.
