Ex-inmate in Amotekun’s net over theft

The Ekiti State Amotekun has paraded four suspects involved in vandalizing Electricity installation and carting away the cables in the state capital Ado.

According to the Corps Commandant, Joe Komolafe, among the suspects was an ex-inmate, Rasak Basiru, who was pardoned during the State Chief Judge’s visit to the Correctional center in Ado, recently.

Komolafe explained that, the suspects confessed to have vandalized an Electricity installation around oke ila area of Ado and that he had been to the Correctional center twice.

Other suspects arrested by the Corps were also involved in stealing Electricity cables and sales of Indian hemp.

He advised members of the public to always avail the agency useful information that could lead to the arrest of more criminal elements in the State.
