Excitement as Isokan HLA, Oladipo bows out

The management and staff of Isokan Local Council Development Area, Ifaki Ekiti, have celebrated the Acting Head of Local Government, Mr Olawale Oladipo, as he bowed out of service after 32 years

The Chairman of the Council, Mr Kayode Ogundaisi, described Mr Oladipo as one of the best hands he had worked with.

It was a celebration of love and mixed reactions as members of staff came together to celebrate one of their own.

Mr Ogundaisi said though he only worked with Mr Oladipo for just a few months, yet his contributions to the growth of the Council was remarkable.

He called on the workers of the Council to emulate his deeds and to discharge their duties as expected.

Some members of staff in remarks, described the outgone acting HLA as a hardworking and committed officer who always put in his best to ensure success.

In his words of exhortation, Rev James Oladipo urged everyone to always prepare for retirement, saying everything had a retirement stage.

Mr Oladipo, in his remarks, thanked members of staff for celebrating his retirement with him and for presenting gifts to him.

The outgone HLA encouraged those still in the Service to be more dedicated to work and have the fear of God in all their dealings.

Cutting of the retirement cake and presentation of gifts climaxed the occasion.

Mr Olawale Oladipo joined the local government service as a higher executive officer in 2001 and worked in various capacities in different local governments before becoming the director of Administration of Isokan LCDA in 2021.

He retired as Isokan acting head of Local Government Administration on his birthday, February 14th
