The remains of the late Prof. S.S. A Arowomole will be laid to rest on Thursday 4th of August, 2022.
According to a statement from the family, a wake keep/service of songs will be held at his Ugba Elepo residence, No. 23, Igbaleje, Epe-Ekiti in Ijero local government area by 4pm on Wednesday, 3rd of August.
A funeral service in honor of the deceased comes up on Thursday 4th of August, 2022 by 10am at the first Baptist Church, Epe-Ekiti
Interment follows immediately at his Imolekere Estate along Iroko Road. Epe-Ekiti.
Guests will thereafter be entertained at the same venue.
The late Prof Arowomole died on Monday 1st of August 2022 at the ripe age of 93. He survived by his, wife, children, grandchildren and his loved ones.
Prof. S.S. A Arowomole was a onetime Deputy Director of Federal Inland Revenue Service. He was a retired lecturer from the Department of Accounting, University of Lagos, prof Arowomole was popularly known and referred to as Baba Tax.
He was the former National President Epe- Ekiti Progressive Union, the position he held until his demise.
He contributed positively to the development of Epe-Ekiti during his life time,
The people of the community affirmed that Prof Arowomole will be remembered for his good deeds, his love for humanity and his progressive outlook towards all and sundry.
They said he left a vacuum that would be difficult to fill in the community
The late Prof Arowomole was Discribed as role model, a disciplinarian to the core, a philanthropist, astute administrator, a pride of Epe-Ekiti community,
They prayed God to grant the entire people of the community the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
