Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps Ekiti State Command has paraded one Mohammed Joseph for trafficking his girlfriend to Libya for the purpose of raising money from prostitution.
The State Commandant Mr. John Fayemi while parading the suspect said the case was reported to the State Command by one Chief Olaleye Gabriel who complained that her daughter has been transported to Libya without his knowledge.
He said the command swung into action and arrested the suspect in Ikere Ekiti.
According to him “Mohammed Joseph who has been cohabiting with Olaleye Anuoluwapo conspired with one Mohammed Alimat and an Agent to send Olaleye Anuoluwapo to libya
Mohammed Alimat is said to be a younger sister of the accused person who assisted Olaleye Anuoluwapo movement through desert to Libya by road.
Mr Fayemi urged parents in Ekiti State to take care of their children and discourage them from unknown Agents and unrealistic greener pastures that will always turn out to be death traps for them.
According to him, the case file and the suspect will be transferred to NAPTIP for urgent attention.
