The Special Adviser to Governor Oyebanji on Budget, Planning and Performance Management Mr. Niyi Adebayo has reiterated Governor Oyebanji administration’s commitment to making sure that all Ministries and Agencies (MDAs) function and deliver on their mandate as his Ministry would provide matrix for monitoring and evaluation of all MDAs
Mr Adebayo who disclosed this while meeting with the Permanent Secretary and management staff of the ministry said, beyond projects monitoring and evaluation, the Ministry will also embark on social impact assessment of all government projects on the people of Ekiti which according to him is more critical to the present government.
The Special Adviser solicited the support of the staff of the ministry as he was willing to learn and understand the workings of the ministry.
‘for me it’s about us working together and trying to deliver the mandate that we have been given in the service of the people of the state’. He said.
Speaking earlier, the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry, Mr. Olusesan Alabi congratulated the Special Adviser on his appointment and expressed hope that the SA was not only going to be the leader of the Ministry but also a solution provider.
Mr. Alabi who then directed all the Directors to brief the Special Adviser about their departments, itemized the challenges of the Ministry to include Funding, Accommodation, Mobility, Access to internet, among others.
Mr. Niyi Adebayo is one of the 8 newly appointed Special Advisers by the Biodun Oyebanji-led government and until his appointment, he was the Chief Executive Officer, BODANI Advisory Resources Limited.
