A leading conglomerate in Nigeria, Cavista holdings limited has partnered the University of Texas at Dallas (UTD) to establish a liaison office in Lagos, Nigeria.

The move was aimed to assist African students aspiring to study abroad by streamlining the admission process and providing access to quality education.

In view of this, the Group Director of Sales, Oska Seyi Aiyeleso has threw thumbs up to the chairman and Management of the conglomerate on the feat.

Aiyeleso in a statement congratulated the Ekiti born industrialist Mr Olajide, saying the partnership will enhance the quality education in Nigeria.

He said that Mr Olajide had contributed immensely to the advancement of the Nation’s economy.

The official launch of the University of Texas at Dallas office in Ilupeju, Lagos was attended by several eminent Nigerians and Americans, such as the Lagos State Commissioner for Commerce and Industry, Mrs Folashade Ambrose-Medebem, the US Consul General in Nigeria, Will Stevens, amongst others.

In his remarks at the event, Chairman of Cavista Holdings Mr. John Olajide, explained that the essence of the office is to facilitate access to quality education for Nigerians by simplifying the admission process to UTD.

Mr. Olajide, an alumnus of UTD, highlighted the university’s significant role in his educational journey and professional success.

“I am thrilled about the opportunities this new office will create for millions of young people in Nigeria and across Africa who are seeking quality education,”

He maintained that the office will help build strong relationships, attract top students, and ensure that their time at UTD is enriched with friendships and experiences that will benefit them throughout their lives.

Mr Olajide who Reflected on his career, acknowledged UTD’s pivotal role in shaping his success in healthcare technology and various industries in Nigeria, including technology, agriculture, and hospitality.

The UTD president Richard Benson who was excited, expressed gratitude for the partnership, emphasizing UTD’s commitment towards providing top-tier education to students worldwide, especially from Africa.
