Insecurity: Ex-Ekiti Deputy governor Aluko proffer solutions

A former Deputy Governor of Ekiti State, Chief Abiodun Aluko, has called for the cooperation of Nigerians with the Government so that the current spate of insecurity could be stemmed.

In a chat with our Reporter, Chief Aluko said that the coming together of the Southern Governors to take a position on the myraids of challenges bedeviling the nation was a welcome development.

He noted that the current insecurity was inherited by the Buhari administration and that the economic downturn was a global problem.

Chief Aluko pointed out that the government was doing it’s best, but that it should intensify efforts so that normalcy could return.

The former Ekiti number two citizen of the state called on the federal government to do more in the area of equiping the military with necessary equipment and to train them on modern and acemetric wars.

He lauded the efforts of the Ekiti State Government in the area of agriculture, saying that the launch of the rice pyramid would create jobs and improve the state’s economy.
