The Senior Special Assistant to Governor Biodun Oyebanji on Tax and Revenue Matters, Hon Ayodeji Adarabierin has called for active involvement of youths in the fight against the security challenges bedeviling the nation.
Mr Adarabierin who made the call in Ado Ekiti while being investitured as the Pioneer Patron of Police Community Relation Committees (Youth Committee) in the state said he would embark on massive sensitization and reorientation of the youth
The tax and audit expert said that the youths play a critical role in shaping the security landscape of the nation, hence a robust collaboration and their active involvement are imperative to forge the necessary synergy in the collective pursuits to curb insecurity in Nigeria.
“In this pursuit, I wish to emphasise the indispensable role of our youths.
“Your energy idealism and a unique perspective make you a powerful force for social change.
“I unequivocally consider the youth a critical stakeholder in curbing the insecurities in our country, Nigeria.
“Beyond conventional rules, the youth can actively contribute to intelligence gathering, community engagement, and the integration of technology solutions in our security measures,” he said
“The results will be sustainable peace and stability, thereby creating an enabling environment for socio economic development to thrive” he noted.
He appreciated members of the group adding that he accepted to be the Pioneer Patron on the ground that it was a call to help build the Police Force.
He said,” I have done several things in the direction of supporting humanity and I promise to do more because I intend to chart a new course to bring new dawn in the PCRC. I promise that you will see a new PCRC in the state.
I equally believe that taking up the responsibility of Patron of the Youth Committee PCRC will avail me of the opportunity to support my able Governor, Mr Biodun Oyebanji in his quest to rid the state of crimes.
He also used the avenue to congratulate the Muslim faithful on the successful completion of the Ramadan fast.
Hon. Adarabierin urged them not to deviate from all the lessons taught during the holy month of Ramadan and keep praying for the development of the state and the nation as a whole.
In his speech, the National Chairman, PCRC, Alhaji Magaji Aramide Olaniyan, who was represented by the National Assistant welfare officer, Pastor Sunday Makinde who was also the immediate Past Chairman PCRC in Ekiti State, said that the choice of Hon Ayodeji Adarabierin for the position was informed by the numerous supports he has given to humanity which he has sustained till date.
According to him “we saw in him, a man who is interested in sacrificing anything to give to the citizens. His efforts and humanitarian gestures have attracted a lot of goodwill, He was chosen above very many other nominations and considering the achievements in this direction, we had no option but to choose him,” he said.
The State Chairman PCRC, Mr Remi Oguntuase who was also represented at the occasion by Elder Lawrence Ogunsetire and the Youth Coordinator Engr Falade Micheal Olakunle noted that it was an honour well deserved.
The duo commended the Pioneer Patron of the PCRC for his contribution to the development of mankind adding that the population of youths in the nation should be seen as a major strength.

Ayodeji Adesina Adarabierin fondly called ASIPA 1, was born over four decades ago into the great families of Ologunsikin and Odofin Fagbuaro of Ado Ekiti.

A certified Management Consultant from London Graduate School, a fellow of Nigeria Institute of Management Consultant, Fellow Institute of Professional Entrepreneur and Strategic Administrator of Nigeria, a registered member of the Charted Institute of Taxation of Nigeria and an Associate of International Institute of Internal Audit.
He is the Principal Consultant Fumdeej Financial Consult, a tax management and financial consultancy firm.
