The Chief Imam of Ansar-Ud-Deen Division 2 Mosque in Ado Ekiti Alhaji Abdulfatai Jamiu has urged President Bola Tinubu to keep his campaign promises and take immediate action on the current economic crisis.
The Chief Imam, who made the call during his Juma’at sermon said low-income Nigerians were suffering and walloping in abject poverty.
According to Islamic Cleric the President had promised to make the country’s economy better urging him to keep to his campaign promises.
Alhaji Abdulfatai therefore, called on the President to take immediate and necessary measures to end the current economic hardship in the country.
He applauded Governor Biodun Oyebanji for his drive in moving Ekiti forward and urged the people of the State to support his agenda in the overall development of the state.
The Islamic Cleric urges both the Federal and State government to as a matter of urgency intervene to check the increasing cost of items in the market saying this had adversely affected the common man.
Alhaji Abdulfatai further urged the general public to intensify prayers to see the end of the current hardship and insecurity challenges facing the state and the country in general.
