The Acting Chairman and Chairman-elect for Kajola Local Council Development Area Chief Ojo Adebayo has assured the people of the LCDA that he would run a transparent, fair and open-door government.
The Chairman-elect also assured the people of Kajola LCDA that more developmental projects would be embarked upon as promised during the electioneering campaign.
Chief Adebayo gave the assurances in a statement on Sunday at Ijesa-Isu Ekiti after he was declared winner of the election by the EKSIEC Chairman.
He lauded members of the All Progressives Congress APC for supporting him through their votes and promised not to let them down.
“I will do everything possible to make the lives of the people of Kajola LCDA better and I want to operate an open and transparent government.
“I want you to join hands with me to develop the people and to manage the resources of the council “.
Chief Adebayo who described his victory at the December 2 poll as God ordained, prayed that God would guide him to steer the affairs of the council successfully.
He thanked Governor Biodun Oyebanji for believing in him and for supporting him throughout the election period and promised not to disappoint him.
