The Ekiti state House of Assembly has called on all relevant government authorities to unravel the mystery surrounding the death of popular hip hop musician , Oladimeji Aloba popularly known as Mohbad who passed away last week.
Lawmaker representing Ikere constituency 1 , Mr Babatunde Oke who moved the motion under matter of urgent public importance at the plenary noted that the situation call for thorough investigation due to testimonies abound from different quarters after his demise.
Also members representing Ikere 2 and Oye 1 , Mr Babatunde Idowu and Mr Tope Longe condemned the death of Mohbad noting that the youths have been crying for Justice, hence the need for security agencies to speed up action to bring those responsible to book.
They noted that there were evidences that the late musician petitioned security agencies on his travail before he was eventually caught in the web.
The Speaker, Mr Adeoye Aribasoye said the house identified and sympathized with the protesting youths crying for Justice.
The Speaker noted that this moment call for sober reflection urging security agencies to be proactive in their investigation to get Justice for the late entertainer who was cut down in his prime.
The House of Assembly sympathised with the family and friends of the late Mohbad on his untimely death.
MOHBAD was a Lagos born Ikere Ekiti indigene.
