Neo black movement of Africa, Ekiti Zone extends Kindness to Orphanage Home in Iyin

…Renews call for Social Justice

A nongovernmental organization, the Neo Black Movement of Africa Ekiti Zone has once again demonstrated its commitment to giving back to the society with the donation of food items, cash and other essential materials to the Erelu Adebayo Children’s home at Iyin Ekiti

The donation, which was part of the organization’s efforts to support vulnerable groups and promote social justice and equality/equity.

Speaking during the ceremony, the President of the Neo Black Movement of Africa, Mr Ojo Ademola emphasized the importance of giving back to the community and promoting coexistence among all man kind.

“As an organization, we believe that it is our responsibility to give back to the community and support those in need. We are committed to promoting social justice, equality, and equity for all, and we will continue to work towards achieving this goal, we believe that every individual deserves to live a dignified life, regardless of their background or circumstances.”…he remarked.

The Matron of the home, Mrs Modupe Ajayi thanked the Neo Black Movement of Africa for its donation and support, saying that such gesture is unprecedented owing to the harsh economic realities in the country.

“We are grateful for the support of the Neo Black Movement of Africa Ekiti Zone, the items donated will go a long way in supporting the children in our care.” she said

The organization also participated in the November monthly environmental exercise aimed at promoting a cleaner and healthier society.

The exercise, saw members of the organization come together to clean up streets, markets, and other public areas in Ado-Ekiti, the state capital.

Speaking during the exercise, the President of the movement in the state, Mr Ojo emphasized the importance of keeping the environment clean.

“As an organization, we believe that it is our responsibility to contribute to the development of our society and one of the ways is by keeping our environment and promote public health and well-being.” he noted

Some of the residents of Ado-Ekiti commended the group for its efforts and called on other organizations and individuals to join hands in promoting environmental cleanliness.

The Neo Black Movement of Africa has been at the forefront of promoting social justice, equality and Equity for all in Nigeria and all over the world.

The group will also commemorate its first Anniversary on the 21st of December, 2024 with the theme: WAR AGAINST DRUG ABUSE AND INDISCIPLINE, aimed at discouraging people from abuse of drugs and other related substances
