A yet to be identified person has been burnt to death at Green Park junction, Idanre road, in Akure, the Ondo state Capital.
As at the time of filing this report, nothing could be said of the deceased, but observers are of the opinion that the incident might have occurred around midnight.
String of tyres was seen in the Ashes, an indication that the arsonists used tyres in setting the victim ablaze.
Men of the Ondo state Police Command were seen at the scene trying to evacuate the remnants of the victim, such as the skull and intestine.
At the junction where the incident occured was an inscription that the entrance would be opened to motorists and passersby by 5 in the morning and close by 11 in the evening.
Some of the sympathisers at the scene condemned the act, describing it as jungle justice.
