Ekiti United football club will tomorrow (Tuesday) slug it out with Stores fc of Lagos in a rescheduled NNL league match .
Stores who are the host are yet to win a game since the beginning of the 10 week old season losing 5 and drawing 3 thus far.
The Lagos base side is rooted to the bottom of the Southern conference B1 table with just 3 points from 8 matches.
Ekiti United in the other hand are under pressure to pick the much anticipated away points in the game against Stores.
With 9 points from 8 matches in the season , Ekiti United are not comfortable on the league table and are desperate to calm the nerves of their fans with an away victory or at least a point.
The coach Ayodeji Ayeni tutored Ekiti United side left Ado, the Ekiti state capital for Lagos at about noon on Monday and got to their destination in the evening.
In the meantime, the fans of Ekiti United back home have urged the coaching crew to work more on the goal scoring abilities of the strikers.
A favourable result for Ekiti United will move up the club on the league table and further sink Stores in the relegation mud.
Shooting stars of Ibadan are holding sway on top of the league table with 9 wins in 10 matches to garner 27 point.
The biggest match of the first stanza of the NNL season will come up at the Oluyemi Kayode Stadium in Ado-Ekiti on Sunday April 11 when Shooting stars of Ibadan will be the guest of Ekiti United in a week 11 encounter.
