The Leadership of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Ekiti State Council has felicitated congratulated Muslims faithful in the media industry on the occasion of this year’s Eld-el-fitri.
The Union in a statement by its Chairman, Comrade Rotimi Ojomoyela prayed Allah to answer every request made by leaders, members of the union during the holy month.
Ojomoyela appealed to members to sustain the lessons of the holy month which are love, giving, tolerance and living a holy life.
According to him, if faithful sustain the virtues exhibited during Ramadan, Nigeria will be a better place.
He however urged members to use their pens and platforms to promote peace, unity and oneness rather than publishing stories that could heat up the polity.
