Peace is gradually returning to Ikere Ekiti following killings by rival cult groups
The crisis was said to have erupted on Saturday’s night at a night club and snowballed into what could be described as a killing competition.
Speaking with the BSES, the Public Relations Officer of the Ekiti State Command of the Nigeria Police, Mr Sunday Abutu, confirmed the incident.
He said that six corpses had so far been recovered, while ten suspects had been arrested.
Abutu said that efforts were on to apprehended the remaining suspects still at large
