The founder of the Positive Youth Dreamers Empowerment Foundation (PYDEF) a Non Governmental Organization, Dr Ayodeji Ayodele Dada has awarded scholarship to pupils in all the primary Schools (both Private and Public) at Orin Ekiti in Ido Osi Local Government Area of Ekiti State.
According to Dr Dada, under the umbrella of PYDEF, scholarships had been given to over 100 brilliant pupils in primary school in the town and promised to extend the gesture to other schools in the Local Government Area
The philanthropist who had Organised series of debates among Pupils said he had also performed many other humanitarian activities to the less privileged.
He said that he loves lending a helping hand to the needy and poor in society, adding that he had donated money to various charitable organisations, mentored and groomed many young people and empower many youths.
He explained that aside from the scholarships he would embark on the provision of free health intervention Programme for indigents people in the community through the Foundation.
Dr Dada emphasized on the need for all hands to be on deck to better the lives of others.
The Country Supervisor of PYDEF, Mr Samson Falajiki described Dr Dada as a true Nigerian with love for human development, adding that he is a man, who believes in investing in humanity.
Some of the Pupils appreciated the Donor for the gesture and promised to be diligent in their studies.
They said they were inspired by the philanthropic gesture of Dr Dada adding that scholarship give to them would help them become successful in life.
The teachers of the participating schools also showered encomium on the donor and urged him to sustain the legacy,
According to the teachers, goverment alone should not be saddled with the responsibility of providing qualitative and quantitative education, hence the need for wealthy people in the Society to compliment government’s efforts in having good educational System.
