Academic activities were this morning disrupted for about two hours when some alleged policemen numbering about six invaded the premises of Mary Immaculate Grammar School, Ado Ekiti, to protest the discipline meted out on one of the students.
A teacher in the school whose cannot be ascertained as at press time was said to have disciplined the student over her hair style, which was said ran foul of the school guidelines.
Angered by the development, the parents of the student were said to have brought the policemen to the school to harass and intimidate the teachers during which their clothes were torn.
The situation however forced the Executive Secretary in the Teaching Service Commission, Mr Daramola, and the ANCOPSS president in Ekiti State, Chief Ilori, to visit the school to restore order.
