…calls for Religious tolerance
The Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on Revenue and Tax Matters to the Ekiti State Governor, Mr Ayodeji Adarabierin has again demonstrated his heart of kindness to the Muslim Faithful in Ado Ekiti as he distributed gifts to them, in the spirit of the fasting season.
The gifts, which included food items, beverages and other essential commodities, were distributed to the faithful in Ado Ekiti.
Mr Adarabierin who is also known as Asipa said that the yearly gesture was in spirit of promoting religious harmony and tolerance.
The SSA who urged Muslims to continue to promote peace, love, and religious tolerance, emphasized the importance of living in harmony with people of other faiths and stressed that religious tolerance was essential for the development and progress of the state.
The Governor’s aide also used the opportunity to commend Muslims in the state for supporting the administration of Governor Biodun Oyebanji
In their remark, the APC ward 1 Chairman in Ado Ekiti Mr Kayode Oladimeji, his counterpart from Ward 5, Lateef Salami and Mr Babalola Tajudeen from Ward 4, thanked the SSA on Tax for the gifts and for promoting religious tolerance.
Also the coordinator of Asipa Political Family Alhaji Jamiu Gboyega and the DG Mallam Musa Talabi eulogied the gesture of Mr Adarabierin and emphasized that his good deeds was not only to the Muslims during Ramadan but to everyone that comes his way.
They noted that the gesture has been widely commended by Muslims in the state, who see it as a demonstration of the state government’s love and care for all citizens, regardless of their religious beliefs.
