The founder of Segun Ajibulu foundation, Chief Segun Ajibulu has charged well to do indigenes of Ekiti state to assist the vulnerable in the society.
He gave the charge during the annual end of year Empowerment programme for the widows and the less privileged to commemorate the thirty three years anniversary of the foundation held at his Ipao Ekiti Country home.
The event was attended by royal fathers , Political leaders , APC members and thousands of beneficiaries across the area.
Chief Ajibulu said that the essence of the programme was to put smiles on the faces of the poor in line with the humanitarian service of the foundation.
Also, the APC chieftain donated Solar powered light to the town which was commissioned by the Chairman of Ajoni LCDA, Prince Michael Ogungbemi.
Dignitaries including the Chairman of Local government Service Commission , Chief Samuel Abejide , the Speaker of the Ekiti State House of Assembly Mr Adeoye Aribasoye represented by Mr Oluseyi Tinuola and others commended Chief Ajibulu’s love for the needy.
Items such as food, cash gifts, and Scholarship were given to selected beneficiaries from twelve communities.
The Director of the foundation , Mr Alex Ikotun promised more support for the less privileged.
Some of the beneficiaries including Ojo Mary and Abiola Ogunleye expressed gratitude to the foundation for the gesture.
The programme also featured free Medical outreach to the people.
