Farmers from 56 wards in Ekiti North Senatorial District have benefitted from the latest farm the inputs distributed by the Senator representing the area at the National Assembly, Cyril Fasuyi.
The Senator, represented by his Director General, Chief Niyi Ojo, said that the gesture was to assist the farmers and to boost food production in the state.
Senator Fasuyi, who emphasized the importance of Agriculture to Nation building, said he would continue to support farmers in his Senatorial District to enhance agricultural practice.
He explained that the donation was part of his campaign promises to the people and will not relent in giving back to the people.
Senator Fasuyi who promised that more were still in the offing, appealed to those yet to benefit to exercise patience.
The farm implements distributed included sprayers, chemicals and fertilizers.
In separate interviews, the farmers lauded the Senator, and affirmed that the implements would have positive effects on their produce.
They prayed for the Senator’s success at the National Assembly.
