Support families of fallen heroes — Ado North LCDA Chairman Gbadamosi charges Nigerians.

The Chairman of Ado North Local Council Development Area Hon. Olatokunbo Gbadamosi has appealed to Nigerians to extend support to the families of both fallen heroes and active Men in the force recognising the ultimate sacrifices made by these brave individuals in service to the nation.

Speaking at the 2025 Armed Forces Remembrance Day Parade and Wreath Laying Ceremony held at the cenotaph of the unknown soldiers at the Ekiti Parapo Pavilion in Ado, Hon. Gbadamosi stressed the importance of honouring their sacrifices by caring for their loved ones.

In her remarks, the Ado North LCDA Chairman Hon.Gbadamosi praised the bravery and professionalism of Nigeria’s Armed Forces, emphasizing the importance of maintaining the country’s security at all times.

The event well attended by top functionaries including, the Deputy Governor of Ekiti State, HE, Okinlua Monisade Afuye, the Rt Hon. Speaker, Ekiti State House of Assembly, Mr. Aribasoye Adeoye, All Ado LG Chairmen, Military Officers,Special Adviser on Security Matters, and the Ewi of Ado Ekiti, HRM, Oba Adeyemo Adejugbe.

Hon Gbadamosi commended Governor Biodun Oyebanji for his support to security agencies saying this had resulted to an excellent performance with security agencies accross Ekiti state.

The ceremony featured several symbolic activities, including prayers, laying of wreaths, a parade and firing of Volley and Gun Salute by men of the Nigerian Army.
