In the spirit of Christmas and New Year celebration, the Chairman of Ado North Local Council Development Area Hon. Tokunbo Gbadamosi has toe the path of Governor Oyebanji by making the people happy with the distribution of food items to workers and people of the LCDA.
Hon. Gbadamosi during the distribution at the Council Secretariat at Okeila, Ado Ekiti, said that the gesture was part of her administration’s efforts towards making the people feel a sense of belonging, especially during this yulitide.
Items distributed included food items and live Chicken worth Millions of naira.
Hon Gbadamosi, who thanked God for the grace to be alive to witness another Christmas celebration, explained that her intention was to take advantage of the yuletide to put smiles on the faces of the people and workers alike, so as to appreciate and reciprocate their love and support for her administration.
She charged the workers to continue in their support for the State government, under the leadership of Governor Oyebanji.
Hon Gbadamosi noted that Christmas was a season of love and thanked the Governor for implementing the seventy thousand naira minimum wage particularly at this festive season.
The beneficiaries expressed joy and pointed out that the gifts had rekindled their hope, and it will enable them to comfortably celebrate Christmas and New Year with members of their families.
