The Ekiti State Governor, Dr Kayode Fayemi, has been described by his colleagues as a leader who had demonstrated love and commitment to the development of Ekiti State and the well-being of the people.
Speaking separately on Friday at the inauguration of some road projects, which cut across the three senatorial districts of the State, Governors Abubakar Bagudu of Kebbi State, Alhaji Mohammed Abubakar of Jigawa and that of Sokoto, Alhaji Aminu Tambuwal, maintained that Governor Fayemi’s leadership style was commendable.
Governor Bagudu, who Inaugurated the Ijan-Igbemo-Ire-Ilupeju road, expressed the belief that governor Fayemi for delivering on his campaign promises
He added that Governor Fayemi, as the Chairman of Nigeria Governors Forum, has been a vanguard of good governance in all the states of the country.
Also, Governor Abubakar, who launched the Oye-Ikun dairy farm-Kwara boundary road, praised Governor Fayemi for being prudent in managing the resources of the State.
He said the number of people oriented projects embarked upon by the governor had demonstrated his love for the people of the State.
Also, Governor Aminu Tambuwal, who inaugurated the Aramoko-Erijiyan-Ikogosi road, discribed Fayemi as a visionary leader who had been working assiduously to ensuring the unity and development of the country.
Earlier, Governor Fayemi said that the road projects would boost the economic activities of the three Senatorial Districts.
He Commended the contractors abiding by the Project specifications, adding that his administration would continue to maintain zero tolerance for shoddy jobs.
