Araromi obaship contenders call for transparent process

Three princes from Odimulele ruling house in Araromi Ekiti of Ijero Local government area of Ekiti State have called for a peaceful and transparent process in selecting a new monarch for the town.

Two of the princes, Sunday Adeniji and Afolayan Ademola who spoke with newsmen in Ado, appealed to the state government to prevail on the kingmakers to complete the process of selecting new monarch for the community without interference.

The duo said the peace currently being enjoyed in the community should not be distorted pledging to abide by the outcome of a transparent process.

Princes Sunday Adeniji and Afolayan Ademola also condemned the alleged plan to install warrant chiefs for the purpose of installing monarch for the community.

They alleged that some suspected thugs have started attacking some kingmakers house in the town, calling for state government intervention.
