The Ekiti State Commissioner for Trade, Industry, Investment and Cooperatives, Mrs Tayo Adeola has encouraged prospective enterprenuers to be resilience and determined.
According to her, these are part of attributes of successful entrepreneurs.
She gave the advice when she addressed about two hundred Female Entrepreneurs who were trained for three days on how to be successful business managers by her ministry in Ado.
The training was jointly sponsored by the Ekiti State government, Master card foundation, and Enterprise Development Center of Pan Atlantic University.
Mrs Adeola who congratulated the participants selected out of the 3000 people who applied for the training, charged them to take advantage of the seminar and be employers of Labour.
She said Research had shown that empowering a woman, would make the family and Nation a better place, hence the training for female business owners.
She encouraged them not to be detered by any challenges being faced, adding that challenges would make them more stronger.
The commissioner who expressed that government cannot employ everybody, hence the need to develop enterprenuers, told them to Spend less time on social Media, Seek for knowledge and think of new product.
Two of the participants, Miss Deborah Odere, and Funke Olawonuoluwa shared their experiences on the training.
The participants were exposed to marketing strategies, Human Resources Management and other business strategies during the training.
