The Ewi of Ado Ekiti, Oba Rufus Adejugbe has described the Southern Governors decision as a welcome development and long overdue.
The Southern Governors had met in Asaba, Delta State and part of the decision reached was the ban on open grazing which had generated ripples in the country.
Speaking in Ado Ekiti, the Ekiti State, capital, Oba Adejugbe said that the meeting should have been held before now, in view of the security challenges in the country.
He commended the Governors for the steps taken and urged the federal government to harken to the voices of the Governors.
The Monarch, who said that the place of dialogue in resolving crisis related issues cannot be quantified, charged the federal government to embrace dialogue in resolving the insecurity in the country.
