The Chairman of Irede Local Council Development Area, with headquarters at Ipoti Ekiti, Mr Olugbenga Abobade, has inaugurated a series of projects embarked upon by his administration.
The Projects included lock up stalls, a bridge linking two communities and Solar powered motorized boreholes across communities in the LCDA.
The Olupoti, Oba Oladipupo Kolade, the Olowa Oba Gideon Oyedeji, and two other dignitaries, inaugurated the projects.
The monarchs commended the chairman for utilizing the meagre resources accruing to the Council effectively.
They were particularly happy that the reasons for the establishment of the LCDA was being fulfilled as it had brought development to communities in the area.
Earlier, the Council boss, Mr Abobade, had lauded the state governor for releasing funds to the council to execute projects.
He explained that the Projects executed by his administration were in line with the promises he made while soliciting for votes.
The chairman charged the users of the projects to ensure their regular maintenance.
He also encouraged the incoming administration to build on his achievements.
There were also goodwill messages from the representatives of the three wards in the LCDA.
