E-Eleven Club advocates Concession of Arinta Waterfall to reputable company

…As members hold a two-day Easter retreat

A foremost social cultural group in Ekiti state, E-11 club has called on the state government to harness the abundant tourism potentials of Arinta waterfall and other tourist sites for the socio-economic development of the state.

The chairman of the club, Chief Kola Akosile and the general Secretary Mr Oska Seyi Aiyeleso in a statement after a Easter retreat held at the Ikogosi Warm Springs Resort advocated the need for government to concession the Arinta waterfall to Glocient hospitality, a subsidiary of CAVISTA HOLDINGS considering the company’s moves towards making Ikogosi Warm Springs Resort a tourist destination.

They said Ikogosi Warm Springs Resort and Conference Center under the supervision of Glocient Hospitality, a subsidiary of CAVISTA HOLDINGS, had witnessed remarkable turnaround as they expressed confidence in the capability of the company to enhance tourism in the region and preserve the natural beauty of Arinta waterfall for generations to come.

The duo said Said government should explore the option of public-private partnership in developing the waterfall adding that Ekiti was richly blessed with diverse resources of touristic value which can be harnessed for sustainable economic diversification; to enhance the prosperity of the people.

In their remarks on the retreat, the chairman and Secretary said members deliberated on issues that would fast track the development of the state.

The E 11 members at the end of the event pledged to be ambassadors of Ikogosi Resort, while some members of the National Assembly pledged their unrelenting support to promote the resort for sustainable economic development of the state.

Other highlights of the retreat’s was the impactful business meeting featuring esteemed guests from various industries and academia.

Guests, at the event included the Vice Chancellors of Bamidele Olumilua University of Education Science and Technology (BOUESTI), Prof. Adeoluwa, and Venitte University, Prof Olaogun.

Also dring the retreat, Some new members were inducted and presented with certificares of membership,

Among them were Mr John Olajide, Ron Olajide, Senator Yemi Adaramodu, Hon Akin Rotimi, Otunba Ladi Owolabi and others.

Climax of the retreat was a get-together party where members wined and danced.
